The client, U-Haul Eastern Quebec, owns and operates an existing building at 2100 Norman, Lachine, Quebec. They wish to build a new building on the northeast corner of their existing lot. The proposed building is 22 175 square feet, and measures 188’ x 117’4’’ and is 51’ 3’’ high. The building will be used exclusively for the storage of U Boxes.

The room for mechanical and electrical services will be adjacent to the main building volume, and there will be a loading dock at the east end. The daily operations involve one propane powered forklift with operator for manoeuvring the storage boxes.
